Butusingmirrorsintroducesotherchallenges,includingkeepingthesolarcellsfromoverhealing,saysScnwartz.“Youhavetotakecareofheatdissipationbecauseyou’renowconcentratingalotofenergyinoneplace,”hesays.Accordingtothecompany’spatent.Solaren’ssolarcellswillbeconnectedtoradiatorstohelpkeepthemcool.
