Dodreamshavemeanings?

Thesearequestionswhichhavetroubledmanforthousandsofyears.TheoldestsurvivingbookontheinterpretationofdreamsisEgyptianandisnearly4,000yearsold.InancientGreece,itwasthoughtthatpeoplewhowereillcouldbecuredbytellingtheirdreams.Theywouldrelatetheirdreamstotheirdoctorswhowouldtellthemwhattheymeant,andthengivethemmedicinetomakethemwell.TheancientChinesebelievedthatifapregnantwomandreamedofabear,shewouldhaveason,andifshedreamedofasnake,shewouldhaveadaughter.Therearemanystoriesaboutdreamsforetelling(预言)thefuture.
