一、教材的地位和作用你
本单元是新目标九年级第七单元，本单元以Vacations为话题，让学生搜集并了解一些世界名胜，并谈论喜欢去旅游的地方，以便更进一步运用形容词和定语从句。
在上一单元运用定语从句谈论自己喜好的基础上，进一步学习和运用定语从句谈论所喜欢去旅游的地方，学好这一单元对后面的学习有很大的帮助，起着承上启下的作用。
本单元通过听、说、读、写的全面训练能力，进一步提高学生听、说、读、写的综合素质能力。
二、教学目标
知识目标
学生学会谈论他们想要参观的地方。
会使用以下基本句子：

I’dliketogosomewhererelaxing.
IhopetogotoFrancesomeday.I’dlovetovisitMexico.
词汇：
学习并掌握本单元单词。
功能句：

能力目标
1、培养学生用功能句进行听、说、读、写的能力。
2、掌握“wouldyouto”“hopeto”句型，通过练习和运用加以巩固
情感目标
1、通过本单元学习使学生更加了解世界各地。
2、通过对本单元的学习，增强实际交际能力，开阔眼界，加深对世界各地的了解，自觉地保护地球，保护环境。
3、无论你去哪旅行，你能用英语，指出学习英语的重要性。

一、学习目标：

1）句中的wouldlike表示想要，是一种委婉礼貌的说法，用法有wouldlikesth./wouldliketodo/wouldlikesbtodo.
