AndhewasalsoacontroversialEnglishwriter.Foralongtime,debatecontinuestocharacterizediscussionofhislifeandwork.Butinthattime,becauseofthesexualexplicitnessofhisworks,hismanybookswerenotallowedtopublish.Suchashisverygreatwork,LadyChatterley’sLover.SoD.H.Lawrencewasapersonwhoexpressedhisinsightsintheformleastlikelytomakethemacceptabletomostofhiscontemporaries.
