Nowadays,parentspaycloserattentiontochildren’sacademicperformance.Asaresult,someteenagersareorderedtocontinueacquiringknowledgefromcoursebooks,evenduringtheirsparetime.Personally,ithasmorenegativeeffectsonchildrenandthesociety.

Admittedly,acquiringknowledgeasmuchaspossiblewouldbehighontoday’sstudents’agenda,especiallyinthiscompetitiveworld.Highereducationalresourceisalwayslimited;asaconsequence,itisabsolutelyjustifiedtoallocatetheopportunitiesofsharingadvancedlearningresourcestothosewhoperformwellinacademicstudy.

However,onnoaccountshouldweignoreitsdrawbacks.Firstly,itshouldbetakenintoconsiderationthatstudentswillsufferstiflingacademicstress.Mostimportantly,iftheirfreetimewereoccupiedforfurtherknowledgeacquisition,thentheywouldhavenotimetorelaxtheirbodiesandeasetheirminds.Inthelongrun,someadolescentstendtototallycollapse,seekingsomeunfavorableapproachestoreleasingpressure,suchasgambling,gettingdrunkandevencommittingsuicide.Secondly,weshouldbynomeansoverlyemphasizetheimprovementofacademicperformance.Realistically,thecultivationofteamspiritandinterpersonalskillsarealsosupposedtoattractparentsandeducators’attention.Otherwise,theyoungstersaremorelikelytoencounterdifficultieswhentheycollaboratewithcolleaguesforanygroupassignment.Wordsfailtoexpresshowimportantcommunicationalskillsareinthisrapidlychangingworld.So,itisfarfromenoughifthestudentsonlypredominateinthefieldofstudy.

Overall,thereisnodenyingthatparentsandteachersaresupposedtojoinforcestohelpchildrenbecomewell-roundedadultsinthenearfuture,whichisnotonlyreflectedintheiracademicperformance,butalsoontheirskillswhentheycooperatewithothers.

Itiscertainlytruethatourgrandparentsneverattendedanyparentingclassesandtheyraisedourparentswithnomajorregret.Itseemsthatwecouldkeepthistradition,learningfromourparents.However,thisisimpracticalinmodernsociety.Thedecreasingbirthrateandsmallerscaleoffamiliesmeansthattheyounggenerationhavenochancetohelpmumtakecareoftheirlittlesiblingsorlittlechancetowitnesstheprocessandlearnfromotheradultshowtoraiseababyproperly.

Itisalsounderstandablethatworkingparentsaresometimesnotinapositiontogetinvolvedinformalparentingcourses,especiallyfatherswhousuallydedicatemostoftheirtimetotheirworkandleavelittletimetotheirfamilies.Nevertheless,suchobstaclescanberemovedbyflexiblewaysofdeliveringchildcarecourses,suchastheInternet,TVorradio.Orthecoursescanlastforafewyearssinceyoungcouplesconsiderstartingafamily.Inaddition,researchfindingssuggestthattheincreasinginvolvementoffathersininteractiveactivitieswithchildrenhelpswithhealthydevelopmentofababy.
