反义疑问句

一．“前肯后否，前否后肯”，的形式，动词、时态等相一致，回答反义疑问句时要尊重事实。

＊Yoursisterisnotanurse, she?

No,sheisn’t.sheteachesEnglishinamiddleschool.

动词原形开头stoptalking

二．祈使句的反义疑问句

Don’t+动词原形Don’ttalk.

❶祈使句的反义疑问句一般都用willyou,表请求。

Don’tforgettoputthebookbackontheshelf. you?

❷在Let’s中，则用shallwe,注:

let’s不等于letus/letme。

但表示劝诱，邀请时用won’tyou;表示提醒对方用can’tyou，表示告诉某人做某事。

Stoptalking,canyou?

Havesomecoffee,won’tyou?

三．❶当陈述部分主语是that/everything/something/nothing/anything等不定代词时，反义疑问句部分用it.

❷当陈述部分主语是these/those/anyone/somebody/everybody/noone/nobody时，反义疑问部分用they,正式用he.

Everythingisarrangedinagoodorder,isn’tit？

四．当陈述部分是Ithink/suppose/believe/imagine/expectthat...时，同末反义疑问句部分与宾语从句保持一致。

Idon’tthinkhewillarrivehereintime,willhe?

五．❶Iwish结构中，反义疑问句部分用肯定形式mayI.

❷当陈述部分是”Iam”时，反义疑问句用aren’tI.Iamyourstudent,aren’tI?

但反义疑问句部分表肯定时。

可用amI.Iamnotyourstudent,amI?

六．在含有情态动词的反义疑问句中。

❶反义疑问句部分一般不用mayn’t,常用mightn’t或can’t代替，表将来还可用won’t.Theymaybeherenextweek,mightn’tthey/won’tthey?

❷在带有hadbetter/wouldbetter/wouldsooner/wouldassoon/wouldlike等句子中，反义疑问部分以had/would为助动词。

Wehadbettergo,hadn’twe?

You’dratherstayherealone.wouldn’tyou?

❸dare和need在行为动词和情态动词中，有不同的反问.

Hedarestoescape,doesn’the?

/Hedarenotescape,darehe？

❹在oughtto中，一般用shouldn’t.Weoughttogonow,shouldn’twe?

❺must+be对现在推测，当一般时或进行时.Youmustbehungry,aren’tyou?

must+havedone推测过去持续到现在，按完成体处理。

E.g:

YoumusthavestudiedEnglishfouryears,haven’tyou?

must+havedone表对过去推测，当做一般过去时反义疑问句处理。

E.g:

Youmusthavecomelastweek,didn’tyou?

七．特殊用法

❶带有推断和感叹语气的句子中。

Sothat’syourlittlegame.isn’tit?

表讽刺，怀疑。

❷并列复合句中，谓语动词跟临近的保持一致。

Heisaprofessor,buthisladyisanactor,isn’tshe？

❸陈述部分是不定式或动名词短语。

疑问部分用it.

Swimmingisgreatfun,isn’tit？

❹noneof+不可数名词，用it;加可数，根据情况选用they,you/are.

❺陈述部分是疑问否定词的前缀或后缀构成的，其附加仍用否定。

It’sunfair,isn’tit?

Youarehopeless,aren’tyou?

附加：

Onecan’tbetoocareful,canyou（非正式）/canone（正式）？

‚当陈述部分为therebe时，反义疑问部分也用there.

省略句讲解

1.状语从句中的省略

在when、while、whenever、till、assoonas、if、unless、asif、though、as等引导的状语从句中，若谓语动词有be动词，而主语又与主句主语一致或主语是it时，从句的主语和be动词常被省略。

E.g:

Unless（Iam）invited,Iwon’tgototheparty.

Whenyouareworking,youmustpayattention.

Ifitispossible,thismachinecanbefixedatonce.

2.不定式的省略

单独使用不定式符号to代替不定式后被省略的动词，常用在beafraid、expect、forget、hope、intend、like、love、mean、prefer、refuse、try、want、wish等词后，常见词有glad、happy、pleased.

E.g:

-I’dgladto.

3.并列句省略

两个对等句两个动词相同时，后者动词可以省略。

HeisgoingtoHongKong,buthisbrother（isgoing）toAmerica.

4.答语中的省略

5.介词省略：

spendsometime（in）doingsth.
