形容词和副词的比较级最高级的用法及练习
一．形容词和副词的形式
形容词和副词有三种形式：
原级、比较级、最高级。
原级就是形容词和副词的原形，如long；比较级一般就是在原形之后加上er，如longer；最高级一般就是在原形之后加上est，如longest。
二．形容词和副词比较级最高级的用法
1．形容词和副词的比较级用法：
当两者进行比较时，形容词和副词要用比较级，也就是词尾-er形式。
比…更比较级+than;和…一样as…as;和…不一样/不如…notas/so…as=lessthan+原级
越来越比较级+and+比较级/moreandmore+原级；越…就越…the比较级，the比较级
2．形容词和副词的最高级用法：
当三者或三者以上的人或事物进行比较时，形容词和副词要用最高级，也就是词尾-est形式，用在句中前加the，注意：
形容词的最高级之前一定要加the,但副词之前可以省略。
如：
LiLeiruns（the）fastestofthethree。
最高级之后常常用of,in等短语来限定比较的范围，of后接人或事物，in后接地点。
如：
LiLeiisthetallestofall/inourclass.。
3.只能修饰原级的词very,quite,so,too,enough,pretty等如，Heisverytired.他非常累。
可以修饰比较级的词much,alot,alittle,abit,even,still,far,some,any等。
如，LessonOneismucheasierthanLessonTwo.第一课比第二课简单得多。
三．形容词和副词的比较级级和最高级的变化规则
规则的：
1．一般在词尾加-er,–est,如：
short—shorter—shortestslow—slower—slowestquick—quicker–quickest
2．以不发音e结尾的形容词和副词,在词尾加-r,–st,如：
nice—nicer–nicest
3．以辅音字母加y结尾的形容词、副词，变y为i，再加-er,-est如：
early—earlier—earliest
4．以辅元辅结尾的重读闭音节，双写末尾的辅音字母，再加-er,est,如：
big—bigger—biggest（注：
常用的有五个bigfathotthinred,可以这样记：
大胖子热瘦子是红色的）
5．多音节和部分双音节的形容词副词的比较级、最高级,在前面加-more,-most,如；beautiful—morebeautiful—mostbeautiful
不规则的：
good/well-better-bestold-older/elder-oldest/eldestmany/much-more-mostbad/badly/ill-worse-worstfar-farther/further-farthest/furthest等
