Abstract

Intwomovies,boththedayaftertomorrowand2012arethedisasterfilm,theyallshowusadreadfulscenethatthedisasterbringsgreatdestructiontohumanbeings.Contrastingwiththedayaftertomorrowand2012,itisnotdifficultforustofindthesimilaritiesanddifferencesintwomovies.Firstofall,inthewhole,bothoftwomoviesshowustheunityofhumanbeingsatthemomentofthedisastercoming.Facingwiththeheartlessandcold-bloodeddisaster,theonlythingthathumanbeingscoulddoisshowingtheinitiativeandwarmththatmeltintohumanbeings’bones.Theunityofhumanbeings’courage,belief,andconcerncontributegreatlyanddirectlytothesurvivalofhumanbeings.Secondly,thedisasteralsorevealsaneverlastinglawinthatthecirculationwillexistforever.Fromtwomovies,wecanseethattheoldthingsarefinishedandnewthingsarecreatedbythenature.Soitconformstothelawthateverythingischangeableandthecirculationbooststheupdateoftheworld.Inaddition,twomoviesalsoreflectthatpeopleareeasytobecheatedbythevisibleappearanceofthings.Humanbeingsarelikelytobesatisfiedwiththeeconomicaccomplishmentsandthepresentcondition.Humanbeingsarelackofthemindofself-examination.Fromtheextentofthemoviedevelopment,therearesomedifferencesintwomovies:

Thedifferentreasonsthatcausethedisasterareinthetwomovies,Thedifferentthreadsareinthetwomovies,andDifferentconflictsthatexistbetweenhumanbeingsareinthetwomovies.Althoughtwomovieshavesomedifferences,theyexpressthecommontheme,toimproveandbeautifytheenvironmentisthethemeoftoday’sworld.Coordinateoperationattheinternationallevelishighlydesirableandtheinternationaljointeffortsarethebestwaytoprotecttheenvironment.
