动名词
动名词是以-ing结尾的名词,这些名词描述动作或活动。
例如:
Communicatingismorethanjustspeaking.
交流不仅仅是说话。
我们由动词构成动名词:

★找出规律:
我们通常通过在动词后加-ing构成动名词。
◎变化规则
☞一般情况在词尾直接加-ing。
buy→___________wait→___________rain→___________
☞以不发音的e结尾的动词,去掉e再加-ing。
use→___________ride→___________make→___________
☞以重读闭音节结尾,末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词,要双写最后一个字母再加-ing。
begin→___________prefer→___________cut→___________
☞少数以ie结尾的动词,变ie为y再加-ing。
die→___________lie→___________tie→___________
☞以oe,ee,ye结尾的动词,直接在词尾加-ing。

助记:
动名词变化有奥秘,-ing词尾跟的牢。
重读闭音节要双写,哑音e结尾应去掉。
ie变y很特殊,反复记忆有诀窍。
▲需要注意的事情:
动名词经常是不可数的,我们不能在它们前面加a或an.
动名词可以有它自己的宾语。
例如:

我们可以使用动名词做句子的主语。

当我们使用动名词做主语时,谓语动词使用单数形式。
