Ontheonehand,punishmentcanexertadverseinfluenceonchildren’sphysical,psychologicalandemotionaldevelopment.Tostartwith,adolescentsareinthestageofdevelopment,whicharevulnerabletogethurt.Thereisnodoubtthatsomephysicalpunishmentsmaybringaboutirreparableandirreversibledamagestoyoungsters,whichisonnoaccountwhattheparentsorteacherswant.Furthermore,punishmentmaycontributetochildren’spsychologicalillnesses,whichwillhurtchildren’sself-esteemandself-confidence.Severalstudiesshowedthatmostfrequentphysicalpunishmentmaybeleadtodepression,juvenilecrimesandevensuicide.Finally,punishmentisdetrimentaltothebondbetweenparentsandchildren.Asamatteroffact,physicalpunishmentmaycausefrustrations,misunderstandingsandeventearsitwillbring,whichmayevenleadtointergenerationalhatred.

Consideringthesecauses,thesolutionofthisphenomenonshouldalsobecomprehensive.Firstly,schoolsshouldstrengthenstudents’moraleducation,givingthemcorrectdirectionsandcultivatingtheirabilitytotellrightfromwrong.Secondly,parentsshouldsparenoeffecttocommunicatewiththeiroffspringsotheycanresolvetheirchildren’sproblemsandtroublestimely.Onlyschoolandfamilytakejointeffortscantheseproblemsbeeffectivelyresolved.

Tosumup,severalcausescontributetoschoolproblems.Iamconvincedthatweshouldtakeeffectivemeasurestourgeschoolsandfamiliestojoinhands,alleviatingthisdisturbingproblem.

therefore,peoplewouldnotbeabletodevelopnewtechnologyandproductsunlesstheykeeplearningthelatestknowledge.Finally,educationprovidespeoplewithentertainmentandself-fulfillment.Toillustrate,forthemajorityofpeople,readingorlearninganewskillmakesthemfeelrelaxedandbringsthemhappinessandsatisfaction.

Admittedly,theover-emphasisofeducationalsocausessomedisadvantages.Anargumenttobemadeinfavorofthisisthatpeoplemaypursuequalificationorcertificateblindlyinordertoincreasetheircompetitivenessinthisfiercelycompetitivesociety.Obviously,thistriggeredaviciouscirclethatemployersenhancetheemploymentthreshold,whichcausesawasteoftalentedpersons.

Inthefinalanalysis,Iconcedethattheemphasisofeducationisnotwithoutitsadverseeffects.Despitethat,theadvantagescreatedbyeducationfaroutweighthedisadvantages.Onbalance,Iamconvincedthatgraduationisnottheterminalofeducation;

onthecontrary,educationshouldbeseemedasalifetimestudybecauseitisinthebestinterestsofindividualsandthesocietyasawhole.

Inthisdayandage,itisuniversallyacknowledgedthatreadingplaysapivotalroleinindividuals’development.Butinthemeanwhile,controversyhasarisenoverwhetheradolescentsareentitledtoreadanythingattractsthem.Someassertthatadolescentshouldbeallowedtoreadawiderangeofbooksthattheyfindinteresting.AsfarasIamconcerned,Iagreewiththeirview,butIwouldqualifyittosomeextent.

Ontheonehand,readingbringsaboutnumerousbenefits.Tostartwith,readingisadecentteacherfortheadolescents.Iamhard-pressedtoimaginewhatourworldwouldbewithoutthecompanionofbooks.Specifically,readingcanbeinstructiveandinspiring,whichprovidesvariousknowledge.Furthermore,readingexpandsadolescents’horizonsandenrichestheirexperienceandknowledge.Takehistoryeventsasanexample,onlywiththehelpofhistoricalbookscanweexperiencethememorablemomentsinthehistory,suchasFrenchEvolutionandAmericanCivilWar.Finally,readingprovidesanidealmethodforyoungsterstoobtainentertainmentandrelaxation.Toillustrate,readingnovelsorsomefashionmagazinescanmakeadolescentsrelaxphysicallyandpsychologically,therebyeasingtheirstressfromstudyandpeerpressures.
