Mother’sDayisatimeofmemoryandcelebrationforMom.TheearliestMother’sDaycelebrationsdatebacktoancientGreeceinhonourofRhea,theMotherofGods.Duringthe1600s,Englandcelebratedadaycalled“motheringSunday”.CelebratedonthefourthSundayofLent（四旬斋）,“motheringSunday”honouredthemothersEngland.
