【知识梳理1】

and是并列连词，意为“和，并且”。

（1）基本用法：

and表示“和，而且”的意思，用来连接对等关系的词和词、短语和短语、句子和句子。

例如：

It’scoolandwindy.天气凉爽有风。

[注意]单词或词组如果是三个以上连接，一般在最后的单词或词组前加and，另外and在译成中文时不一定要翻译出“和”来。

例如：

Ilikeapples，pearsandbananas．我喜欢苹果、梨和香蕉。

Iwashedclothesandcleanedthehouse.我洗了衣服，打扫了房间。

（2）特别用法：

and在祈使句中的作用：

句型：

祈使句+and…=Ifyou…，youwill…例如：

Workharder,andyou'llgetmore.工作越努力你就会得到的越多。

=Ifyouworkharder,youwillgetmore.如果你工作越努力，你就会得到的越多。

比较and和or

　　　1）并列结构中，or通常用于否定句，and用于肯定句。

2）但有时and也可用于否定句。

请注意其不同特点：

Thereisnoairandnowateronthemoon.

　　　在否定中并列结构用or连接，但含有两个否定词的句子实际被看作是肯定结构，因此要用and。
