Anotherkeyfactorinthebirthrateisbirthcontrol.Womenmaywanttolimittheirfamiliesbuthavenowaytodoso.Incountrieswheregovernmentshavemadebirthcontroleasilyavailableandinexpensive,birthrateshavegonedown.ThisisthecaseinSingapore,SriLanka,andIndia,aswellasinIndonesia,Thailand,Mexico,andBrazil.Inthesecountries,womenhavealsobeenprovidedwithhealthcareandhelpinplanningtheirfamilies.
