InstallationofSageAccpacERPv5.5

ThisdocumentshouldbeusedasaguidetoinstallingSageAccpacERPv5.5.Thedocumentwillassisttheinstallationandapplicationofallmodulesandupdates,andwilladditionallycovertheinstallationoftheMicrosoftSQLServer2005RuntimeEditiondatabaseengine.ItwillalsocoverbasicsetupofMicrosoftSQLdatabasesandAccpacdatabases.

CertaincorrectionsandeditorialchangeshavebeenmadetothisdocumentbyLWFGenevastaffinordertomakeitmoreeasilyusablebyLWFFieldOffices.ItisrecommendedthatFieldOfficesprintoutthereadmefilesforadditionalreference.Thesefilesarelocatedinthe\DOCS\folderontheinstallationdiskundereachmodulebeinginstalled.Theyarenamedreadme.wriandcanbeopenedwithMicrosoftWord.

SageAccpac,aswithpreviousversionsofAccpacforWindows,isamodularsystemandthereforerequireseachmoduletobeseparatelyinstalled.ThefollowinginstructionsandscreenshotsareastepbystepinstallationguideforeachSageAccpacERPv5.5module.Licensekeysandfurtherinformationcanbefoundattheendofthisdocument.

Asanote,pleaseensureallsoftwareisinstalledusinganadministrativeaccountsuchasAdministrator.UsersofWindowsVistamayreceivemessagessuchas“Thisprogramhasknowncompatibilityissues”.Youshouldclickon“RunProgram”tocontinuewiththeinstallation.Fileextensions（i.e.“setup.exe”）havebeenusedthroughoutthismanual.Youmaywishtore-configureyourWindowsFolder->Viewoptionsanduntickthecheckbox“Hideextensionsforknownfiletypes”inordertoseethe“.exe”fileextension.

SystemManagerandComponents

TheSystemManagermustbethefirstmoduleinstalled.Tostarttheinstallation,locateandrunthefollowingsetupfileontheinstallationDVDprovidedbyLWFGeneva.

ThefirstwindowsdisplayedwillbetheinstallersWelcomescreen.ClickNEXTtoproceed.

ThenextscreendisplayedwillbetheLicenseAgreementwindow.Click‘Iacceptthetermsofthelicenseagreement’andclickNEXTtocontinue.

Thenextwindowwillrequireyoutoselectthelicensingregion.PleaseselectAmericas,Europe,Asia,andOceania（Sage）andclickNEXT.

Whenpromptedforthetypeofinstallation,selectCustomandclickNEXT-wewillchoosecustomasthereisnorequirementtoinstallwebdeploymentrelatedfilesunlessthesystemwillbedeployedspecificallyviaaWebServer.
