今天是12月26日，大家知道今天是什么日子吗？

我还想问大家两个问题：

第一个，在北京天安门城楼的中央高高悬挂着一位伟人的巨幅照片，你们知道那位照片中的伟人是谁吗？

是的，他是毛主席，是受万人敬仰的毛主席。

第二个问题，在现行通用的人民币纸币上印有一位伟人的头像，你们知道那又是谁呢？

对，还是毛主席，是受万人爱戴的毛主席。

今天是毛主席诞辰119周年纪念日。

1893年12月26日，在湖南一个普通农民的家庭，诞生了一个新生命——他的名字叫毛泽东；中华民族，一个在风雨中飘摇的民族，迎来了一个新希望——他就是开国领袖毛泽东。

是他，领导中国人民奋起抗争，打败了一个又一个侵略者；是他，领导中国人民努力奋斗，建立了一个全新的中国翻开中华民族的历史，追寻一代伟人成长的足迹，至今，我们依然能够感受到他“恰同学少年，风华正茂；书生意气，挥斥方遒”的豪迈气概，还有他“自信人生二百年，会当水击三千里”的奔放情怀。

毛主席是中国人民的伟大领袖，他的一生，在众多方面给我们留下了宝贵的财富。

他在青少年时期对待学习的态度，也是我们学习的典范。

勤奋、刻苦，是毛主席学习上的一贯表现。

清晨，是他学习的开始，同学们尚未起床，他已经借着微弱的晨光开始读书了；课余时间，他总是处于一种学习状态，或在自习室里看书，或在学校的后山上阅读；喧闹嘈杂的地方，也常有他的身影，那是他有意识地在锻炼自己的意志，闹中求静，静中求学。

1913年春天，毛主席以作文考试第一名的成绩被湖南第一师范学校录取。

“抓紧时间，刻苦学习”这8个字，是毛主席在第一师范读书时的突出表现。

学校的南门口，是个车来车往、声音嘈杂的地方，当然不适合读书。

但毛主席却经常出现在这里，在杂乱的环境中只顾自己读书，时而默念，时而朗诵，专心致志，旁若无人。

原来，他是在有意识地锻炼自己读书的注意力。

夜深人静的时候，是毛主席学习的好时光。

当同学们进入梦乡，他便来到走廊或茶炉室，坐在灯光下看书。

他自制了一盏小灯，下面垫一节竹筒，坐在床上阅读。

求知的渴望，使他常常忘记了疲劳和睡眠。

善于提问，是毛主席学习的好习惯。

他对毫无意义的奇闻轶事不感兴趣，而对各种学术问题却热衷于与同学们互相探讨，切磋琢磨。

他能列出学习上的疑点，向老师请教。

他对同学们说，我们称某人有学问，是指他好学好问，学与问是不能分开的，只有好学好问的人，才可能有学问。

做笔记、写心得，是毛主席学习的又一个好习惯。

读书时，凡对自己思想上或学习上有帮助的内容，他都要记录下来，注上自己的思考。

几年的时间，这类的笔记和日记积累了一大网篮。

博览群书，是毛主席的突出特点。

他每到一处便千方百计地找书看。

他经常到城里的书店和旧书铺，看到合适的书就买下来。

第一师范的图书馆更是他常去的地方，这里藏书很多，有关社会科学方面的图书，他大多看过。

阅读报纸，是毛主席又一大特点。

第一师范的阅报室，毛主席每天必到，一看就是一两个钟头。

他常常带着地图去，边看报纸边查地图，把报纸上的城市名字用英文写出来。

他说这是一举三得：

了解时事，熟悉地理，学习英文。

他被同学们称为“时事通”。

由于对天下大事十分熟悉，所以他经常和同学们一起分析世界局势，发表革命观点，讨论青年一代的责任。

为方便阅读，他还省吃俭用，每月省出一块钱来，自己定了一份报纸。

不动笔墨不读书，是毛主席学习的重要方法。

在他阅读一本10万多字的《伦理学原理》上，用毛笔小楷写了万多字的批语和提纲，书中随处可见用红笔和黑笔加的圆点、单杠、双杠、三角等符号，空白和行间还有注解和批语。

这些批注，表达了他对伦理观、人生观、历史观和宇宙观的见解。

同学们，希望我们像一代伟人毛主席那样，多读书，会读书，跟好书交朋友，做一个有知识的人；像一代伟人毛主席说的那样，文明我们的精神，强健我们的体魄，做一个全面发展的人，做一个对社会有用的人。

让自己每天都能进步一点点，每天都要比昨天的自己好，向着奋进的目标全力以赴，坚持，坚持，再坚持，以老人家的谆谆教诲时时相伴，去摘取自己人生的皇冠。
