语言技能目标

1.围绕中心话题MakingtheNews，学生之间互相探讨研究，了解新闻报道的方法，报纸的出版程序，了解新闻工作者的职业生活。

2.掌握理解本单元主要阅读篇章关于记者采访技巧等职业方面的常识。

阅读课文过程注意阅读微技能的培养，获取主要信息、明确部分，总结文章的整体脉络。

值得注意的是，本阅读篇章是以对话的形式呈现访问信息，是以访问的方式呈现访问的内容。

3.听力材料的完成帮助学生训练做记录、归纳、猜测等能力。

4.结合语言运用部分的内容，探讨新闻出炉流程，锻炼学生口语表达，完成程序性作文的写作。

倒装（Inversion）

由于语法，修辞等需要，将谓语全部或者一部分提到主语的前面，这种语序叫倒装。

倒装分为全部倒装和部分倒装两种。

单元整体教学分析

本单元的中心话题为“新闻”，内容涉及新闻工作者应该具备的素质和新闻采访的基本程序等。

语言技能和语言知识主要是围绕“新闻”这一中心话题进行设计的。

★WarmingUp

通过讨论来引出报社工作人员的工作类别和所承担的责任。

关键在于What’sthejob?

和Whatitinvolves?

★Pre-reading

首先通过一个调查问卷来引导学生去考虑一个优秀的记者应该具备的素质；然后引导学生谈论他们难忘的经历和感受；最后通过一个“假设”为下一部分的学习做好准备。

★Reading“阅读”

此部分通过ZhouYang,一个跃跃欲试的新手和他的上司HuXin,一位经验丰富的资深记者之间的谈话引导学生了解新闻工作者应该具备的素质，新闻采访的基本程序及采访时应该注意的要点等。

★Comprehending:

教材设计了四个教学活动来加深学生对阅读部分的理解和复习。

活动一要求学生通过阅读找到所需要的信息，重新组织后再呈现出来。

活动二要求学生把阅读部分分成三个小节，并说明每个小节的要点。

活动三通过形容词归类进一步引导学生思考一个优秀的文字作者和摄影记者应该具备的素质。

活动四要求学生朗读后半部分对话，（从Herecomesmylistof…totheend）练习句子重音和语调。

★Learningaboutlanguage

分为词汇学习和语法学习两部分。

词汇学习部分设计了词汇替换，选词填空等活动；语法学习部分设计了句型转换、完成句子、编写故事等活动。

通过这些语言练习和活动，引导学生发现并初步运用本单元的一些重点词汇和语法。

★Usinglanguage：

包括读、说、写和听说两项活动。

第一部分学生首先通过阅读“获得独家新闻”一文，写出“新闻”报道的步骤和见报前的有关程序，然后讨论这位“影星”可能说了什么谎话。

最后在阅读和讨论的基础上写出一份有关“影星”的独家新闻。

第二部分学生首先听一段对篮球明星刘明的采访，随后的练习设计侧重训练学生归纳要点和获取细节的能力。

最后要求学生通过开展两人对话活动引导学生正确运用有关交际功能“约会”的习惯用语。

★Summingup：

归纳了本单元的主要学习内容并引导学生对学习效果进行自我检测。

★Learningtip：

这部分建议学生尽可能多地阅读一些适合于中学生的英文报纸。

教师不妨推荐一些给学生，或让学生自己选择一些他们认为好的英文报纸。

★Readingforfun：

这部分提供了一篇摘自英文报纸的趣闻，浅显易懂，教师可以以此鼓励学生利用课余时间，读一些符合自己语言水平的英文报刊杂志，拓宽自己的文化视野。

教材整合建议：

1.将Warming-up,Pre-reading,andP27中的Comrehending3结合为一节口语课。

3.若课时紧张，也可考虑把课后的听力1删掉，把usinglanguage里面的听力整合到reading后面，并延续speaking做关于这为足球明星的访问，把阅读到的知识转化为实践技能。

4.课后的listening，speaking，writing整合为一节听说课，并完成单元的写作训练。

教学资源补充建议：
