Sincefinishingmyapprenticeshipovertwoyearsago,I’vehadcountlessopportunitiestodevelopmyselfbothacademicallyandpersonally.I’veboughtmyfirsthome;IwaschosentobeapartoftheGovernment’sGetInGoFarapprenticeshipcampaign,andofferedanamainganduniquesecondment（人员借调）withtheEnvironment,Health,SafetyandQualitydepartmentatSellafield.
IhavenodoubtthatwithoutmyapprenticeshipIwouldn’tbeinthepositionIamtoday,butequallyInowthatitwasonlythebeginningforme.

“Allthesignalsthatwenowreceivewiththehelpoftelescopesaresignalsthatcomefromcosmicobjects—stars,galaies.Wehavenotyetreceivedanythingfromintelligentciviliations,”scientistRichardLynchsaid.
