教材内容:

Book3Acontainscorelanguagelearningmaterial,usingawidevarietyoftext-typesandactivitiestointroducelanguage;

poems;

stories,cartoons,dialoguesandpracticaltasksallengagethestudentatprovidesstudentswiththemeanstocarryoutsuccessfullythesubsequentlearningtasks,whicharefullydescribeinthebook.

教材目标:

The“buildingblock’’approachisbasedthefactthatlearningandthecapacitytolearnaredevelopmental;

thatis,thatstudentslearnbybuildingonknownlanguage,conceptsandactivities,todevelopandexpandprogressively.

Thedevelopmentofthethematicthroughrelatedmoudulesensuresthedevelopmentoflanguagebyconstantlyrevisitingandrecycling,thusbuildingfromastrongbasewithinlevels.Intheknowledgethatlanguageandcontentdevelopandarerevisitedprogressivelythroughoutthepackage,vocabularyandstucutruesareintroducedandpracticedthroughtasksatacontrolledpacesteadyenoughtoinvolvestudents’interestwhilstensuringconstantconsolidation.

Atlowerlevels,caretakentoensurethatpupilsarelearningwithinfamiliar,comfortablecontextssothatthelanguageisappropriatetotheirneedsandinterests.Atintoaccountaswell.StudentinvolvementisencouragedthroughoutOxfordEnglishbytasksandactivitiesthatfocusoninteraction;

teachertostudent(s),ingroupsandinpairs.ThiscollaborationensurescommunicationandthepurposefuluseofEnglish.
