一、Introduction.

Throughthiscourse,Igottoknowandunderstandtheirownprofessionalandindustryinthefutureareengagedin,butalsostimulatetheinterestofcivilengineering.Alampthatcourseislikethevastsea,isjustfromthewaywespecifiedthedirection,nomatterfromwhichangleisverymeaningful.Inthefuturecourseofstudy,wewillthenworkharder.ThefollowingismyafterlearningthiscoursealittleonCivilEngineeringknowledge.

Aftertheindustrialrevolution,especiallyintwentiethCentury,ontheonehandisthesocietyputsforwardnewrequirementstothecivilengineering;ontheotherhand,eachfieldofthesocietytocreategoodconditionsfortheadvancementofcivilengineering.Suchasbuildingmaterials(steel,cement)forindustrialproduction,machineryandenergytechnologyanddesigntheoryofprogress,haveprovidedmaterialandtechnicalguaranteeforcivilengineering.Thusthisperiodofcivilengineeringhasmakeaspurtofprogressofdevelopment.Intherestoftheworldinthemodernlarge-scaleindustrialplants,skyscrapers,nuclearpowerplants,highwaysandrailways,long-spanbridge,largediameterpipeline,longtunnel,theGrandeCanale,bigdams,bigairport,portandmarineengineeringetc..Moderncivilengineeringtocreateanewphysicalenvironmentforthehumansociety,hasbecomeanimportantpartofmoderncivilizationofhumansociety.
