ThesewordskeepremindingthereaderthattheIrishcountrysideisbeingtalkedabout.Theyconnectthefoursentencesandmaketheparagraphcompact.Sogoodconnectionbetweensentencesisthethirdpointinherentintheparagraph.

Thuswecansaythataneffectiveparagraphgenerallyhasthreefundamentalfeatures:

acentralidea,atopicsentencethatexpressesthecentralidea,andcloseconnectionbetweenthesentences.

Nowletuslookatanotherparagraph.
