由于业主要求绝对的独立性，因此决定建造一个封闭的区域，成为“封闭庭院”或私密的小树林。
建筑师用四面3.5米高的围墙围出一个18米×
18米的院落，建筑位于院落的正中间，正好将院落分成三等份，两边是庭院，中央有屋顶覆盖的是住宅。
两面横向的2米高墙按照A:
2A:
A的比例将住宅分成三个区域，服务设施区域安排在两边。
中间区域的屋顶较高，达到4.5米。
在高墙和低墙交错的位置，一共开出四个边长2米的正方形的窗户，并简单地用玻璃封住。
正是通过这四处窗户，石材地面得以连续性地水平铺展开来，从而有效获得了室内到室外的连续感。

pointswherethelowwallsintersectwiththetallerones,fouropeningsof2×
2metersaremadeandsimplyglazed.Itisthroughthesefour
openingsthatthehorizontalplaneofstonepavingexpands,effectivelyobtainingacontinuityofinteriorandexterior.
建筑所有的元素都使用白色，使其结构更清晰和连续。
对称种植的四棵柠檬树强调出建筑上下和左右的双重对称性，同时也创造出适合冥想的空间。
Thewhitecolorofalltheparameterscontributestotheclarityandcontinuityofthearchitecture.Thedoublesymmetryofthecompositionisemphasizedbythesymmetricplacementoffourlemontrees,whichproducecontemplativereflections.
光被东、西方向的院墙反射，在建筑内部水平连续地流动。
简而言之，水平的光线更彰显了水平且连续的建筑空间。

夏天的时候，我的住宅被四周墙面前的树荫包围起来。
一条条光线透过树荫交织而成，仿佛可以透光的黑暗一般。
Myhouseinthesummerisshaderaisedbetweenfourwalls.Shadewhichasdarknessistransparentfromallthelightthatbattlesthere.
住宅在夏季是如此的寂静，它像是宁静栖息的住所，又像是我们终将回归的和平天堂。
Myhouseinthesummeristranquility,aplacewherecalmhassettled,aheavenofpeacetowhichonereturns.
每到夏天，我的住宅就像海水遇难者的救生筏，吸引我的朋友们来寻求慰藉，消磨时光。
虚无的诗，或者生活中最为美好的事物，都诞生于此。

不过说到底，住宅究竟是个什么样子呢？
它不过是一栋简单的建筑，四周围墙，精心设计的白色，简洁的布置却充满智慧。
内部的树荫源自精准的测量，与醒目的光线形成鲜明的对比。
石材制成的地板，如同大地一样支撑着我们赤裸的双脚。
在背景的中间挖出一个宁静的池塘，池中的水如同静止了一般，就连迷失方向飞进来的海鸥都没有发现它。
阴凉处的池水像是一面镜子，倒映出广阔的天空。
院子的四个角上穿过石材种植的柠檬树，每天清晨都盛开出白色的花朵。
But,inthefinalanalysis,whatisthehouseandwhatisitlike?
Itisasimplearchitecture.Fourhighwalls,whiteandwelldesigned,arrangedwithfrugalwisdom.Withaninteriorincarefullymeasuredshadethatpersists,always,againsttheboldlight.Asolidfloorofstone,asfound,asiftheearthhademergedtosupportourbarefeet.Andthereinthebackground,inthecenter,aserenepondhasbeendug,containinganalmoststillwaterinsilence.Alostseagullbathesthere,hardlytouchingormarkingit.Andsoitisthatthewaterinthisshadeisamirror,aninfiniteperiscopeoftheskies.Andatitsfourclearcardinalpoints,piercingthestonetoitscore,lemontreesblossom,openingtheirwhiteflowerseachmorning.
如果非要用语言来表达，这就是我的住宅在夏天传递的感受。
封闭式花园既像世外桃源，又像是一片天堂。
四面围墙，有树有池塘，光与影的交叠，还有石头地板带给人的愉悦。
这就是地上的天堂，建筑还能带给我们更多的什么呢？
