重视考查学生对英语基础知识、基本技能和基本能力的掌握情况，突出考查学生在具体语境中运用英语分析和解决问题的基本能力。
泸州市二○一四年高中阶段升学考试的依据是《全日制义务教育英语课程标准（实验稿）》中所提出的要求。
考试范围为现行人教社《义务教育课程标准实验教科书·
）第七年级至九年级全部内容。
三、考试内容
（一）普通初中毕业考试
1．语音
能按顺序准确读出26个字母；
能按国际音标正确地读出单词；
能熟练地运用基本的拼读规则读出单音节和双音节词；
能正确、连贯、流畅地朗读课文或略浅于课文的文段；
在口头表达中，语调、节奏自然，语音基本正确。
2．词汇
能熟练地运用所学的拼读规则拼写单词。
重点考核动词、名词、代词、形容词、副词和常用介词。
教材词汇表中所列出的黑体词汇作为重点考核的内容，其余词汇，只要求理解。
3．语法
能初步运用语法要求掌握的语言形式进行口头和书面的表达与交流，在书面表达中力求表述形式基本正确；
能初步运用表示并列、因果、转折等逻辑关系和相关标志词等基本语篇知识获取和处理信息。
4．交际用语
能听懂最常用交际用语，作出正确应答，能根据提供的信息在恰当的语境中使用、理解并完成简单对话。
5．阅读
能独立阅读生词率不超过1％的题材熟悉的短文，理解主旨大意，掌握主要细节，阅读速度为每分钟40—60词；
能理解运用于日常生活中的内容简单的书信、通知、说明等应用性文字材料，并能理解和解释图表所提供的基本信息。
6．书面表达
测试简单的书面表达能力。
要求考生根据所给的情景，用英语写一篇50词左右的短文；
提供情景的形式有图画、要点提示（汉、英语）、表格等。
（二）高中阶段学校招生统一考试
能熟练地运用基本的拼读规则读出单音节、双音节和多音节词；
能正确、连贯、流畅地朗读课文或相当于课文难度的文段；
能运用语法要求掌握的语言形式进行口头和书面的表述与交流，在书面表达中力求表述内容完整、形式基本正确；
能初步运用表示并列、因果、转折等逻辑关系和相关标志词等所涉及的基本语篇知识获取、处理信息，从而进行正确的书面表达。
能听懂常用交际用语，作出正确应答；
在恰当的语境中使用、理解常用交际用语并完成对话。
能独立阅读生词率不超过3％的题材熟悉的短文，理解主旨大意，获取重要信息，阅读速度为每分钟50—70词；
能理解日常生活中内容简单的书信、通知、说明等应用性文字材料，并能理解和解释图表所提供的简单信息。
测试基本的书面表达知识和能力。
要求考生根据所给的情景，用英语写一篇100个单词左右的短文；
提供情景的形式有图画、要点提示（英语或汉语）、短文、表格等。
四、试卷结构
（一）普通初中毕业考试
泸州市二○一四年普通初中毕业考试分值为100分；
答题时间90分钟；
试卷长度为6页。
