It’saboutus.Onourvictory,andIcongratulatedherandherfamilyonavery,
veryhard-foughtcampaign.
Imeanshefoughtveryhard.Hillaryhasworkedverylongandveryhard
overalongperiodoftime,andweoweheramajordebtofgratitudeforher
servicetoourcountry.
Imeanthatverysincerely.NowitistimeforAmericatobindthewounds
ofpision,havetogettogether,toallRepublicansandDemocratsand
independentsacrossthisnationIsayitistimeforustocometogetherasone
unitedpeople.
Itistime.IpledgetoeverycitizenofourlandthatIwillbepresident
forallofAmericans,andthisissoimportanttome.Forthosewhohavechosen
nottosupportmeinthepast,ofwhichtherewereafewpeople,I'mreaching
outtoyouforyourguidanceandyourhelpsothatwecanworktogetherand
unifyourgreatcountry.AsI'vesaidfromthebeginning,ourswasnota
campaignbutratheranincredibleandgreatmovement,madeupofmillionsof
hard-workingmenandwomenwholovetheircountryandwantabetter,brighter
futureforthemselvesandfortheirfamily.
ItisamovementcomprisedofAmericansfromallraces,religions,
backgroundsandbeliefs,whowantandexpectourgovernmenttoservethepeople,
andservethepeopleitwill.
Workingtogetherwewillbegintheurgenttaskofrebuildingournationand
renewingtheAmericandream.I'vespentmyentirelifeinbusiness,lookingat
theuntappedpotentialinprojectsandinpeopleallovertheworld.
ThatisnowwhatIwanttodoforourcountry.Tremendouspotential.I've
gottentoknowourcountrysowell.Tremendouspotential.Itisgoingtobea
beautifulthing.EverysingleAmericanwillhavetheopportunitytorealizehis
orherfullestpotential.Theforgottenmenandwomenofourcountrywillbe
forgottennolonger.
Wearegoingtofixourinnercitiesandrebuildourhighways,bridges,
tunnels,airports,schools,hospitals.We'regoingtorebuildour
infrastructure,whichwillbecome,bytheway,secondtonone,andwewillput
millionsofourpeopletoworkaswerebuildit.Wewillalsofinallytakecare
ofourgreatveteranswhohavebeensoloyal,andI'vegottentoknowsomany
overthis18-monthjourney.
ThetimeI'vespentwiththemduringthiscampaignhasbeenamongmy
greatesthonors.
Ourveteransareincrediblepeople.Wewillembarkuponaprojectof
nationalgrowthandrenewal.Iwillharnessthecreativetalentsofourpeople
andwewillcalluponthebestandbrightesttoleveragetheirtremendoustalent
forthebenefitofall.Itisgoingtohappen.Wehaveagreateconomicplan.We
