Abstract:
Withthedevelopmentoftechnologyandreducedpriceofcommunicationproducts,therearemoreandmorecollegestudentsusingmobilephones.Whiletherearesomeproblemssuchaswhichfactormainlyinfluencingcollegestudents’selectionwhenchoosingamobilephone,atthesametime,theusinghabitsisworthinvestigating.Forthecollegestudents’attitudestophoneselectionanduse,theauthorsofthispaperusedtheformofthequestionnaire.Inthisquestionnaire,tenquestionsweredesigned.Atotalof44individualsparticipatedinthesurveywhile50questionnairestotallyweregivenout.Theresultsindicatesthatcollegestudentsprefertochooseabroadbrandmobilephone,blackandwhitecolors,pricerangingfrom1500RMBto2000RMB.Collegestudentsupdatetheirphonesinashorttimewithin2years.Almost2hoursto3hoursperdayinaverageonphone.Mobilephoneareusedinmanyotherpurposessuchassurftheinternetetc.notonlyjustpalyacommunicatetoolrole.Finallyadiscussionwasgiveninthispaper.

1,Introduction
Nowadaysmobilephoneisamustforpeople,especiallyforcollegestudents.Mobilephonehasmadeourlifemucheasier.Firstly,communicationismadealoteasierwiththeadventofthemobilephone.Amobilephoneiscarriedallovertheplaceswithusinpockets,attachedtothebeltorinhandbags.Someevenwalkaroundwithmobilephonesintheirhands.Thiswillmakeiteasyforeveryonetocontactusnomatterwhereweareaslongthereissignalforthetelecommunicationservice.Weneverhavetoworryaboutnotbeingabletocontactanyone.Secondly,shortmessagingserviceisapopularfeatureusingmobilephones,especiallyforourcollegestudents.WeprefertosendSMSregularlytofriends,passingshortmessages,importantdata,greetingsandjokesratherthandirectcommunication.Thishelpstostrengthentheirrelationshipwithbettercommunication.Finally,mobileinternethasbecomeatrendforphone’sdesignandmanufacture.Ourcollegestudentsisabiguserspartwhobenefitfromthedevelopmentofmobileinternet,weusuallysearchinformationbysurftheinternetinanytimeandanywhere.Atthesametime,weliketoreadEBooksratherthanpapermagazineinsparetime.Inaddition,playingmobilephonegameshasmadeourcollegelifemorewonderful.
Inspiteoftheadvantagementionedabove,collegestudentsusersoftenwastealotoftimechattingoverthephoneintheirsparetime,someevenusethemtocheatinexams.Inaddition,mobilephonebillisalsoaheavyburdenonstudents'
families.
Soitisasignificanttopictoresearchcollegestudents’attitudetoselectandusemobilephone,thenanalysisanddiscusssomeaffectfactors.
2,Researchmethod
Theauthorsofthispaperusetheformofthequestionnaire.Inthisquestionnaire,wedesigntenquestions.Thefirsttwoquestionsareaimingtodefinebasicinformationofinterviewee,includinginterviewee’sgenderandeducationlevel.Thenquestion3to5aresetforresearchtheaffectfactorswhenselectphone,whereaffectfactorsdistributeinthebrand,colorandprice.Whilethefinalquestion6to9areusedtoknowthephoneusehabitsofinterviewee,whichincludeusedyearsofinterviewee’spersonalphone,phone’susedtimeperday,themainlypurposewhenusingmobilephoneandthedependencylevelonmobilephone.
Atotalof44individualsparticipatedinthesurveywhile50questionnairestotallyweregivenout.Theyareallfrompostgraduatecollegestudents,including32malestudentsand12femalestudents,chart1showsthegenderration.Althoughthenumberofpeopleinvolvingthissurveyissmall,itstillcanstandforsomepointofviewtosomeextent.Iftimepermitswecandesignmorequestionsinthisquestionnaireandfindmorestudentstojoininthisinvestigation.Thequestionnairestemplateisgiveninappendixofthispaper.

Afterstatingthesequestionnaires,weuseMicrosoftExceltomakechartsinordertomakeourinvestigationmoreclearlyandvividly.Throughthestatistics,wemakeanalysissimplyandbrieflyforeveryquestion,thenwecangivegeneralconclusion.Makingadiscussionandrecommendationisneeded.

Theresultsareseparatedintotwosectionsinthispart,oneistheselectionofmobilephone,theotheristheusinghabitsofinterviewees.Wewillgiveeachchartcorrespondingeachquestion,andthenprovidesomeexplanationsandanalyses.

Chart2showsthestatisticalresultsabouttheusernumberofdifferentbrandofmobilephone.WecanseethatthenumberofusingSamsungandiPhonebrandisequalas9,whichaccountforthelargestproportion.Consideringthesystemusedinmobilephone,SamsungandiPhonehaveexquisitetechniqueandmatureafter-salesservice,besidestheyusuallyhavecoolconfiguration.Comparingthenumberdifferencebetweenusingabroadbrandanddomesticbrand,itisindicatestheabroadtraditionalbrandhasobviouscompetitiveadvantage.Sothequalityofmobilephoneisanimportantfactorsaffectingcollegestudents’selection.

Chart3showsthestatisticalresultsabouttheusernumberofdifferentcolorofmobilephone,dataisvalidthoughthequestionnairejustprovidetwocolors(blackandwhite).Overhalfofintervieweesselectblackphones.Reasonissample,blackphonecanbearorenduremoredirtythanothercolors,otherwiseblackcolorappearnobletemperament.Blackandwhitearemostpopularcolorsamongcollegestudents.

Amostimportantfactorissurelyprice.Chart4showsthestatisticalresultsabouttheusernumberofdifferentpriceofmobilephone,dataspreadsinnormaldistribution.Middlepartfrom1000RMBto2500RMBoccupiesnearly70%,andmostnumberstandsfor1500RMB-2000RMBregion.Itisobviouslyindicatedthatmostcollegestudentsmaybeacceptthemobilephonewhichpricerangesfrom1500RMBto2000RMB.

Whenitcomestoresearchtheusinghabitsofmobilephone,themanufacturerswouldliketopaycloseattentiontotheusingtimeperiodformostcollegestudents.Chart5showsthestatisticalresultsabouttheusernumberofdifferentusedtimeofmobilephone.Firstly,itisworthnotingthatusedtimemorethan4yearsiszero,whichstatesclearlymobilephoneisashort-termconsumergoodsbecauseofthefastupdatespeed.Thenthenumberofintervieweeusingonemobilephonelessthan2yearsis36(total44),consideringthatpostgraduatestudentsmusthaveeverusedothermobilephones,collegestudentsupdatetheirphonesinashorttime.

Ifyouareparent,youmustbeconcernedwithhowmanytimeyourchildspendsonusingmobilephoneperday.Chart6showsthestatisticalresultsabouttheusernumberofdifferentphone’susedtimeperday,dataalsospreadsinnormaldistributionwhileexistssmalldifferencebetweenmiddleandtwopoles.Theaveragehoursisalmost2hoursto3hours,whichexplainscollegestudentsprobablywastingmostsparetimeusingmobilephone.

Mainpurposeiskeyfactoraffectingusingmobilephone,whichisoftenconsideredbymobilephonedesignerandAPPsoftwaredeveloper.Chart7showsthestatisticalresultsabouttheusernumberofdifferentmainpurposewhenusingmobilephone.Traditionalmobilephoneisoftenusedtocommunicate,whilewiththedevelopmentofmobileinternet,moreandmorecollegestudentsusemobilephonetosearchinformationbysurftheinternetinanytimeandanywhere.Atthesametime,ReadingEBooksratherthanpapermagazineinsparetimehasbecomeatrend.Inaddition,playingmobilephonegameshasmadeourcollegelifemorewonderful.
Thelastoneisthemosttypicalandsubjectivequestion.Chart8showsthestatisticalresultsabouttheusernumberofdifferentviewsondependencylevelonmobilephone,Astandsfor“absolutelyyes”,Bstandsfor“probably,butyourheartisfulloffearandanxiety”,Cis“no,someonewillconnectyou”,Dis“no,lifewillbeboringwithoutmobilephone”,whileEis“absolutelyimpossible,youdependentonyourmobilephones”,fromAtoE,thedependencydegreeismoreserious.

StatisticaldatapresentalmostsamelevelsforA,BandC,whichindicatesmostcollegestudentsaresensiblewhenusingmobilephones,althoughmoreandmorepeopleareseriouslydependentonmobilephone.
4,Conclusion
Inthispaper,somefactorsaffectingselectionandusemobilephoneforcollegestudentsaresearchedandanalysised.Fromthestatisticdata,someresultshavebeengiveninpart3.Wecangettheconclusionbysummarizingtheresults,whichseparatedintotwosections.
Ontheonehand,thebrand,color,andpricearethemostaffectivefactorswhenselectmobilephoneforcollegestudents.Collegestudentsprefertobuyabroadbrandmobilephone,becausetheyhaveexquisitetechniqueandmatureafter-salesservice,besidestheyusuallyhavecoolconfiguration.Blackandwhitearemostpopularcolorsamongcollegestudents.Whenitcomestoprice,mostcollegestudentsmaybeacceptthemobilephonewhichpricerangesfrom1500RMBto2000RMB.
