Multimedia（多媒体）helpsalotinthisaspectinrecentyears,andcomputer-basedtraining（CBT）hasbecomeapopulareducationalmedium（手段）.Evenbeforethemultimediacome[came]

（2）up,manydifferentlearningsystemsappeared,usingthecomponentsandtechniqueswenowassociatewiththeterm“multimedia”.Multimediacomponents,suchasgraphics（动画）,animations,soundandvideo,makethelearningprocesseasierthroughvisualization.Animationscanpresentmanycomplexsubjectsdynamically,buthumanteacherscannotdothisonblackboards.Multimediamakesourstudymorelivelyandinteresting.Forexample,aCD-ROMdisknamed“EncartaEncyclopedia”contains650MBinformationincludingimages,graphics,musicclips,videoclips,animations,texts,hotwords,anddatabasesearchfunctions.Fieldsinvolvedincludesphysicalsciences,performancearts,socialsciences,politics,military,educationandsoon.Whenpressingabutton,IcanhearAmericanPresidentClinton'sspeechclip.Imayenjoyplayingallkindsofmusicalinstrumentsintheworld.Icanalsoseetheanimationofmanyphysicalphenomena.Thismakesphysicalconcepttobeunderstooddeeply[conceptsunderstoodbetter]（3）.Theaudiofeaturesofmultimediacangreatlyhelpmelearning[learn]（4）foreignlanguages.Withitsspeechoutputcapabilities,I'mnolongerdependentonaninstructorforproperpronunciation.

Therearemanyways,includingkeyboard,mousepointer,andtouchscreen.Ioftenuseakeyboard.WhenIpressrightkeys,IcanseeandhearwhateverIwant.Informationworldisatmyfingertip.Iwishthattruespeechinput-outputsystemwouldbeinventedoneday.

　　Asteachers,computershavealotofvirtues：

Theyarepositive,theyhavegoodmemoriesandneverloseanyinformationstoredinthem.Theyhavemuchknowledgeineveryfield.Theycanletoutallkindsofsounds,andcanalsoimprovetheefficiencyofourstudy.Forexample,ifIwantto,IcanskipsomechapterssothatIcanstudyatmyownpace.

　　Althoughcomputerswillnevertaketheplaceofhumanteachers,theyarewelcomedbymoreandmorelearners.Computerswillcontinuetoevolve（发展）withtheaidofmoderntechnologies.Computersaresopowerful,helpfulandimportantthateverybodyneedsit,especiallyinthefuture!
