教学重点:
形容词副词比较级和最高级的用法和相关句型,本单元重点词组。
教学难点:
多音节和少数双音节形容词和副词的比较级和最高级形式和少数不规则变化。
学法指导
本单元的主要话题是比较中国的农场和美国的农场,同时也将农村与城市的生活进行比较。
这是一个将形容词和副词的比较级派上用场的语境。
因此,可采用研究式学习方式,比较法、操练法相结合的学习。
同学们可结合已学的颜色、季节、食物、运动等名词开展自由讨论,熟练以上的句型。
语法建议
(1)情景教学,教师可以使用图片展示运动员在运动场上的情景如跑步,赛车等活动,让学生先运用形容词比较级和最高级的相关句型对运动员进行描述再运用副词的比较级和最高级的相关句型对运动情景进行口头和笔头的描述。

(2)先复习前一单元所学的形容词比较级与最高级的构成和使用,用old,small,到young等词进行复习检测,然后将这些词变成beautiful,interesting,exciting等词进行本单元的重点内容讲解。
具体方法可以通过实物、图片或简笔画对两种或两种以上的东西进行对比。
(3)在引入本课语法项目时,教师可以先出示一些形容词和副词,请几个学生在黑板上写出这些词的比较级形式和最高级形式,其它学生在笔记本上写。
这些词中有一些不规则的动词和多音节词。
然后对学生的错误进行纠正,加深学生印象,再帮助学生自己总结规律,并列出此表。

2)在多音节和部分双音节的形容词和副词前加上more或most。

(1)导语。

此时教师让学生先闭上眼睛。
教师播放事先准备好的录音播放,如鸟叫,羊叫等声音。
同时出示放大图片选自课本16页图1,制造出一种身临其境的氛围。
(2)图画内容简介。
教师可以就图片内容进行提问:

此时,利用图片讲解部分新单词。
(3)组织学生学习对话。

口语训练建议
(1)本单元的口语训练应侧重于运用形容词和副词的比较级的相关句型介绍比较中美农场的异同和农村与城市的差异,教师组织学生就两个主题进行讨论,在讨论之前要求学生先要熟练掌握课文内容,否则学生说不出,将起不到预期的效果。
(2)教师也可以让学生将第14课的课文改编成一个对话,然后再练习。

语音教学建议
oo组合在单词中的发音规律不明显,建议教师自己总结规律如:
Agoodcooklooksbook.一个好厨师看书。
这些词中的oo组合都发短元音/u/的音,便于学生记忆。
词汇教学
人教社教学用书p35-36的词汇教学dingbat可以与该单元语法重点(比较级与最高级)相结合进行。
如:
