@#@H.G.Wellswasbornin1866inBromley,hisfamilywaspoorandthereislittlemoneytospare.However,hehasmarriedtwice.Inhislife,hetravelledalotandfinallykepthomesinthesouthofFranceandinLondon,wherehediedin1946.Wellswroteabout40worksoffictionandcollectionsofstories,manybooksandshorterworksonpolitical,socialandhistoricalmaters,therebooksforchildrenandonabouthisownlife,hismostimportantearlyworksestablishedhimasthefatherofsciencefictionanditisforthesebooksthatheisremembered.Inalltheseworks,heshowsaremarkableimagination.ThebestknownareTheTimeMachine(1895)TheInvisibleMan(1897)TheWaroftheworlds(1898)TheFirstMenintheMoon(1901).@#@Aboutthestory:
@#@Griffinwastheprotagonistofthenovel,hewasabrilliantandtalentedscientist.But,hegotthediseasecalledalbinismwhenhewasayoungboy,sohedevotedhislifetodothestudyaboutthebodycolor,andgraduallyhewasabsorbedintheexperimentofinvisibility.Hebelievedthattheinvisibilitywouldtransformedhisbodyandhelpedhimrealizedhisdesiring.Finally,heinventedanunknownmedicinewhichcouldchangetherefractiveindexofthebodycolor,andmadethebodybecomegreatlytransparent.Yet,whenheappliedthemedicinetohimself,tohisastonishment,hecouldn’treturnbackanymore.Ofcourse,hewastransformedtoanotherman,theroleofaninvisibleman.AfterGriffinbecomeaninvisibleman,hefoundthatItwasverydifficultforhimtoliveinhiscity,then,hemovedtoapromotesmalltowntolivealife,thatwastosay,heescapedthegossips,thehustleandthebustle,but,hedidnotescapehimself,actually,hecontinuedhisexperiment,hedidhopetofindawaytorestoretheprototype,however,Griffin’smindshadchangedcompletely,itwashisfaultsthatfailedhimself,hewasextremelywaywardandselfish,hemightevenchoosethewaytofightagainstthewholesociety,Griffinwasmadandcruel,heattackedthelocalpeople,though,theywereinnocent,themostterriblematterwasthatheenslavedthetramps,heorderedthemtoseverehim,andheplannedtocarryoutareignofterror,atthistime,Griffinwasabigdevil,nothingcouldprovehewasahuman.Ontheotherside,Griffinhadn’tthekeytotheotherwayexpecttheinvisibility,everytimewhenhefoughtwithothers,hewasalsohurtbyhisemery,sometimes,Griffinwaspoor,ultimately,hewasarrestedandkilledbythelocalpeople.Tooursurprise,astrangechangeappeared,intheoccasion,everyonesawashadowy,cloudybody,atfirst,theycouldseethroughit,butitwasbecomingmoresolideverymoment,andso,beginningathishandsandfeet,andspreadingslowlytothecenterofhisbody,thatstrangechangecontinued.Itwasliketheslowmovementofapoison.Theysawthegrassybones,thenthefleshandskin,mistyatfirstbutslowlygrowingthickerandharderandmoresolid.Soontheycouldseehischestandhisshoulders,andthefaintshapeofhisface.Whenatlastthecrowedmadewaytoseeclosely,therelaythebareandbrokenbodyofayoungmanofaboutthirty.Hishairwaswhitenotgreywithage,butwhiteassnowandhiseyeswerebrightjustlikejewels.Hisexpressionwasoneofangerandfear.Someonebroughtasheetandthencoveredhim,andcarriedhimintotheinn.Andthereitwas,onabedinanill-lightedbedroom,amongacrowedofexcitedpeople,thatwasGriffin,thefirstofallmentomakehimselfinvisible,endedhisstrangeandterriblelife.@#@Afterreadingthenovel,Ihaveanidea,sciencehasbroughthumanmiracle,improvedthedevelopment,coloredourlife,andbroughtthecountlesswealthtous,butatthesametime,therehidestheunknownpainandconfusionbehindscience,andeventhefeelingofecstasyandthehelpless.Itjustlikeadoubled-edgedsword,itwillmakeyousucceed,anditalsocanmakeyoufailed.@#@
