TheUnitedStatescoversalargepartoftheNorthAmericancontinent.ItsneighborsareCanadatothenorthandMexicotothesouth.AlthoughtheUnitedStatesisabigcountry,itisnotthelargestintheworld.In2000,itspopulationwasover222million.
